Trade school, military service or technical school training\n\nProven mechanical and trouble shooting skills\n\nAbility to work constructively under minimum supervision\n\nAbility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, be on call and accept call-outs and over time work\n\nBasic user PC skills for information processing and management\n\nGeneral knowledge of safety and environmental regulation\n\nAbility to operate a fork lift and man-lifts as needed.\n\nAll applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position.
