Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Accounting Team and its’ growth.\nKey responsibilities:\nCompute periodic NAVs for Closed Ended Funds and Hedge Funds\nPrepare capital calls, distributions, redemptions, equalization workings.\nPrepare Waterfall calculations and Carried interest (American and European Methods).\nPrepare investor reporting on periodic basis and respond to ad hoc client and investor queries.\nProvide annual and periodic bookkeeping and full financial statements for SPV clients and funds according to local GAAP and IFRS.\nLiaise directly with auditors and internal or external clients as and when required to ensure quality service and resolve accounting queries.\nMaintain details of work completed and time sheets in Time Tracker to allow production of quarterly statistics, and rebilling data.\nCollate relevant data and convert into information for Central bank, Inland Revenue and Group reporting purposes on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.\nCompliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence with relevant accounting procedure manuals.\n\nKey requirements:\nGood knowledge of funds, capital market and structured finance deals.\nSound knowledge of IFRS and relevant GAAPs in EU/ US.\nProficiency in MS office applications (Word & Excel)\nFlexible to work across different teams.\nAnalytical, well organised, and resourceful\nHave at least 2-3 years’ experience in the financial services sector\nPartly or fully qualified ACCA\nA degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent will be an advantage.\nCompany Benefits:\nAt our Vistra Mauritius office, we believe in putting our employees’ well-being first!
