Reporting to the Practice Lead, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Financial Accounting department and its’ growth.\nKey responsibilities:\nOversee the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting reports and deliverables prepared by the team in accordance with client requirements and SLA.\nPrepare and update related matters/report as per schedule. \nBe responsive to client’s enquiries for accounting and other operation matters.\nProper planning of engagement so as to be aware of the needs and provide quality service to Clients.\nSet clear team goals and deadlines with appropriate delegation of tasks.\nEffective reporting and consultation with Operations Manager & Practice Lead. \nEnsure quality deliverables, reviewing and approving work of staff prior delivery of final accounts/reports for Operations Manager’s final review OR direct to client.\nManage client’s financial accounting closing process, monitoring and reporting systems.\nAssist Operations Manager in streamlining effective workflow processes and efficient manpower structure.\nAttend client/management meetings as required by clients.\nEnsure that all SOPs are strictly adhered to by all staff.\nEnsure reply/respond to clients’ queries/correspondence not later than 2 working days.\nIdentify potential risks and take/recommend appropriate action.\nHandle ad hoc activities as assigned.\nKey Requirements:\nKnowledge of end-to-end accounting functions and interaction.\nKnowledge on some accounting software is an advantage such as Microsoft Navision, Xero, Oracle and SAP.\nGood command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.\nSense of urgency, ownership and commitment to on-time and on-quality delivery.\nGood interpersonal skills and able to work in a team.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant working experience.\nDemonstrated leadership experience in a complex accounting environment. \nShould have experience in stakeholder management either to internal business units or external customers/clients.\nTechnical understanding of domain knowledge.\nExperience of managing the end-to-end accounting function.\nExperience of managing a team in a client service or SSC environment is essential.\nExperience in work migration, system enhancement or process improvement.\nAt least a SPM, Diploma, Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.\nACCA, MIA, CPA or equivalent will be added advantage.\nCompany Benefits:\nOpportunity for career advancement and regional working exposure\nTraining and development\nHybrid working arrangement\nMedical, dental, optical coverage\nStudy leave and professional membership coverage\nIf you are excited about working with us, we encourage you to apply or have a confidential chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team members.
