In this role, you will apply your traditional art training and knowledge of illustration, graphic design, and computer graphics software to help build a visually compelling and user-friendly interface.\nWhat You Will Do:\nCreate and implement high-quality UI assets that align with the game’s art direction\nWork closely with a team of UI Designers and engineers to integrate UI assets into the game engine using Maya and proprietary development tools\nContribute to the development of motion graphics and visual effects that elevate the overall user experience\nParticipate in design reviews, provide and incorporate feedback based on playtest\nWho Will Be A Great Fit:\n2+ years crafting commercial user interface designs, ideally for large-scale or AAA titles\nFamiliarity with 3D software such as Maya, Cinema 4D, or other industry-standard 3D rendering tools and plugins\nExperience working with modern game engine (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and implementing UI assets within them\nExperience with industry standard 2D graphics applications and prototyping tools used in UI (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma etc.)\nStrong understanding of UI/UX principles, composition, color theory and visual hierarchy\nAwareness of current trends in UI design, tools and technologies to continuously improve quality and efficiency\nProven ability to work with a high degree of self-direction\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nExperience in creating motion graphics\nExperience with Perforce\nLove for games (not just ours!)\nMight Be Nice:\nShipped at least one AAA console project\nExperience on multi-sku, multi resolution console and PC projects\nKnowledge of the NBA brand and style\nAlong with your application, please submit a portfolio of professional or personal work.\n US (All States except for WA)\nThe pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $39 - $60 per hour. The pay range for this position in Maryland at the start of employment is expected to be between $34 - $54 per hour.The pay range for this position in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $34 - $54 per hour.
