As Coupa is new to the organisation, this role plays a critical foundational role in setting technical standards, integration patterns, controls, and ways of working that will support procurement and finance processes across Australia and New Zealand.\n\nResponsibilities: \nOwn the technical integrity and governance of the Coupa platform, establishing configuration standards, design principles, controls, and documentation appropriate for a new enterprise system.\nAct as the technical authority for Coupa, ensuring platform configuration aligns with approved procurement and finance business rules for Australia and New Zealand.\nProvide technical oversight of integrations between Coupa and Visy's ERP and related systems, including SAP, with accountability for data accuracy, stability, and appropriate controls.\nLead change and release management from a technical governance perspective, including impact assessments, testing oversight, and approval of production deployments in line with IDT change and audit requirements.\nServe as the escalation point for complex or high-risk technical issues, including workflow failures, integration defects, security concerns, and data integrity issues impacting business operations.\nPartner with Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and well-governed technical solutions.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify configuration, enhance automation, and improve platform performance as adoption matures.\n\nKey Challenges: \nEstablishing and governing a new Coupa platform in an evolving environment where processes, standards, and usage patterns are still being defined.\nBalancing speed of delivery with governance, stability, auditability, and long-term sustainability during early adoption phases.\nManaging stakeholder expectations across multiple geographies and time zones while supporting Australia and New Zealand operations from the GCC.\n\nKey Relationships: \nPrimary Functional Peers / Managers:\nProgram Manager - Digital Transformation & ERP.\nCentral Purchasing System Manager (Indirect Manager).\nDirect Reports:\nNone\nInternal Stakeholders:\nProcurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams (AU & NZ)\nIDT Integration and Architecture teams\nExternal Stakeholders:\nCoupa Support and implementation partners, as required\n\nRequirements: \nTertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nSenior-level experience supporting Coupa or equivalent enterprise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) / Business Spend Management (BSM) platforms.\nExperience managing configuration standards, integrations, and platform stability.\nDemonstrated experience establishing or stabilising enterprise systems, including governance frameworks, controls, and technical standards.\nStrong integration experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, with a strong understanding of data integrity and failure management.\nProven ability to operate as a technical authority without direct people management responsibilities.\n\nDesirable (Preferred for the Role): \nCoupa certifications, such as Coupa Platform, Procure-to-Pay, or Integration certifications.\nExperience working within a Global Capability Centre or shared services environment supporting offshore stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.\n\nTechnical / Business / Leadership Skills: \nDeep understanding of Coupa platform capabilities and configuration concepts.\nStrong systems thinking across workflows, integrations, data, and controls within the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.\nAbility to assess technical risk and make sound decisions in evolving platform environments.\nStrong understanding of enterprise change control, release governance, and audit expectations.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to influence outcomes through expertise and credibility rather than formal authority.\nSkills\nBSM, Business Spend
