This is a full-time permanent role based on a Day shift, 35-hour week with paid overtime available.\n6am - 2pm Monday - Friday, with weekend’s available\nDaily overtime applies after 35-hour week and all weekend hours paid at double time\nReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.\nKey Responsibilities\nOverlook and supervise daily operations of the electrical department, working hand in hand with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the site is supported by Maintenance.\nEnsure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.\nPerform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns.\nOversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.\nUse continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and quality.\nMentor and guide electrical team on best practice and safety.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nElectrical Qualifications with an Electrical Licence (ideally Supervisor).\nMust have Manufacturing experience, ideally within a maintenance team.\nLeadership experience or a passion for mentoring junior team members.\nExperience in Automated machinery, PLC’s and Drives beneficial.\nAdhere, uphold and maintain OHS policies and procedures.\nWhat you’ll love when you join us:\nWhen you join Visy, you’re joining a team that values you.
