Whether you're seeking long-term stability or a fixed-term opportunity, you'll enjoy variety, scale and the chance to contribute to a payroll function that supports employees across the business.\nThe Role\nAs a Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple business units and pay cycles.\nYou'll partner with Payroll Leadership and stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance, resolve payroll queries and continuously improve payroll processes and service delivery.\nBased in Reservoir, you'll work three days per week in the office and two days remotely.\nWhat You'll Do\nProcess weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.\nMaintain employee records, including new starters, payroll changes, corrections and terminations.\nUse SAP Payroll to support end-to-end payroll processing.\nSupport payroll administration through SuccessFactors and Kronos.\nEnsure compliance with payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and statutory obligations.\nInvestigate and resolve payroll enquiries while delivering a high level of customer service.\nPrepare payroll reporting and reconciliations as required.\nContribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.\nWhat You'll Bring\nExperience in a medium to large payroll environment with exposure to high-volume payroll processing.\nSAP Payroll experience is essential.\nExperience with SuccessFactors will be highly regarded.\nExposure to Kronos or similar workforce management systems will be advantageous.\nStrong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, PAYG and Superannuation requirements.\nAbility to interpret and apply payroll policies and industrial instruments accurately.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to payroll accuracy.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.\nWhat you’ll love when you join us:\nBe part of a large, in-house payroll function supporting 4,000+ employees.\nWork with leading payroll and HR systems including SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors and Kronos.\nFlexible hybrid working arrangement.\nSupportive and collaborative team environment.\nOpportunities to develop your capability and grow your career.\nAbout Visy\nVisy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling.
