Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the role will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of product dossiers, preparation and submission of regulatory applications, coordination of product renewals, and review and approval of product artwork to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food supplements, nutrition or health and wellbeing regulations, excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, commercially focused solutions.\nResponsibilities will include…\nRegulatory Compliance\nSupport the regulatory compliance of food supplements, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, and consumer healthcare products.\nMonitor and interpret relevant UK, EU, and international regulatory requirements.\nProvide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders on product composition, claims, labelling, and compliance requirements.\nSupport regulatory risk assessments and compliance reviews for new and existing products.\nDossier Preparation & Maintenance\nCreate, compile, and maintain regulatory dossiers and technical files for new and existing products.\nEnsure all supporting documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.\nObtain and review technical documentation from suppliers and manufacturers, including specifications, certificates, safety data, and supporting evidence.\nMaintain regulatory databases and document management systems.\nRegulatory Submissions & Renewals\nPrepare and submit product notifications, registrations, and regulatory submissions as required.\nManage product renewals and updates to ensure ongoing market compliance.\nCoordinate submission activities with regulatory authorities, customers, distributors, and external consultants where applicable.\nMonitor submission timelines and ensure actions are completed within required deadlines.\nMaintain records of regulatory approvals and submission statuses.\nArtwork & Labelling Approval\nReview and approve product artwork, labels, packaging, and promotional materials for regulatory compliance.\nEnsure mandatory labelling requirements are correctly applied and maintained.\nVerify product claims, ingredient declarations, warnings, instructions for use, and marketing statements.\nSupport artwork change control and approval processes.\nWork closely with Marketing, Packaging, and Product Development teams during new product launches and product updates.\nProduct Lifecycle Management\nSupport regulatory assessments for formulation, ingredient, supplier, packaging, and manufacturing changes.\nMaintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle.\nParticipate in product change control, risk assessment, and continuous improvement activities.\nSupport responses to regulatory, customer, supplier, and internal technical queries.\nAudit & Quality Support\nSupport internal, customer, and regulatory audits.\nAssist with the preparation and maintenance of regulatory documentation during inspections.\nEnsure regulatory records are accurate, current, and audit-ready.\nSupport CAPA, deviation, and change control activities as required.\nShipping & Distribution Compliance\nEnsure products meet applicable regulatory requirements for transportation, import, export, and distribution across target markets.\nReview and maintain documentation required for the safe and compliant shipment of products, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), transport classifications, declarations, and supporting regulatory documentation.\nLiaise with Logistics, Supply Chain, suppliers, freight partners, and regulatory authorities to ensure products can be shipped in accordance with relevant regulations.\nSupport classification of products for road, sea, air, and courier transportation where applicable.\nAssess the impact of formulation, packaging, and artwork changes on shipping and distribution requirements.\nMaintain awareness of changing transportation, customs, and regulatory requirements affecting product distribution.\nProvide regulatory guidance to internal teams on market-specific shipping restrictions, documentation requirements, and product registrations required for export.\nRequirements\nEssential\nDegree in Regulatory Affairs, Food Science, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.\nExperience working within a regulatory, technical, quality, or compliance role. \nExperience preparing and maintaining technical documentation and product dossiers. \nExperience reviewing product labelling and artwork for compliance. \nExperience working within food supplements, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries. \nUnderstanding of regulatory requirements relating to product claims, labelling, and ingredients.\n Desirable\nExperience managing regulatory submissions and product notifications. \nExperience supporting product registrations and renewals.
