We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings.\nWe have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.\nWith plans to double our headcount over the coming years, supported by offices opening in new locations across the country and our strong investment pipeline, coupled with our expansion into new markets such as industrial power generation with our very own Energy-from-Waste facility, there is no better time to join the family here at Vital Energi.\nThe Role-\nDevelop detailed commissioning plans, risk assessments, and method statements.\nPLC Programming\nIdentify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning issues, escalating where necessary.\nCollaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the commissioning process.\nMaintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.\nTraveling to and from different sites\nContribute to process improvement initiatives within the commissioning department.\nPlan, manage, and carry out commissioning activities across solar farms, energy centres, and boiler houses\nQualifications & Experience\nHNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.\nProven experience in commissioning within the energy, utilities, or renewables sectors.\nStrong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety.\nKnowledge of/experience with Renewable Energy technologies such as Heat Pumps and Solar will be highly advantageous\nFull UK manual driving licence\nThe Package:\nSalary negotiable DOE\nCompany Car\nContributory Company Pension Scheme\nNon-contributory death-in-service insurance\nEmployee Assistance Programme\n25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays.\nAdditional holidays awarded in line with length of service\nOption to purchase/sell additional holidays\nOnsite gym/wellbeing centre at our Blackburn Head Office\nDiscounted gym membership across the UK\nEV charging points where possible\nApplications will be processed within 28 days of receipt.
