The role is responsible for implementing, configuring and guiding the evolution of security. The suitable candidate will be expected to possess strong motivational skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative. This role would suit a person who wishes to develop their existing skills and make their mark in an expanding and invigorating organization.\nThe Company\nVital Energi is a leading provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sectors. We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings.\nWe have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.\nWith plans to double our headcount over the coming years, supported by offices opening in new locations across the country and our strong investment pipeline, coupled with our expansion into new markets such as industrial power generation with our very own Energy-from-Waste facility, there is no better time to join the family here at Vital Energi.\nA few key responsibilities\nManagement and tuning of security tools\nVulnerability assessment and remediation tracking\nPopulation of Infosec questionnaires / RFI’s\nSupport implementation of security controls\nContribute to security policies, standards and procedures.\nLead security audits\nDrive a culture of security awareness across the business through training and communications\nOut of hours work will be required.\nEducation & Experience:\nAt least 5 GCSE’s\nInformation Security Experience (4 Years Minimum)\nQualifications:\nComptia Network+, Security+\nWorking towards CISM\nKnowledge:\nStrong understanding of core security technologies\nExtensive NGAV experience (Crowdstrike preferred)\nInformation Security standards (CE+, ISO27001, IEC62443)\nData Protection knowledge (GDPR)\nISO27001, CE+, IEC62443\nThe company is opposed to all forms of discrimination and will select for employment, training and promotion on the basis of suitability for the job and/ or merit.
