The scheme will provide low-carbon heat to more than 1,500 homes together with schools, a leisure centre and other connected buildings within the area,\nWho are Vital Energi?\nVital Energi is a major provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sectors. We are doing this by enabling the UK’s Net Zero targets.\nThe Role\nManage all aspects of projects, supported by our Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Design team and Planning Managers.\nManage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and client objectives.\nDevelop and manage construction programmes, project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.\nReview systems and methods to improve contract performance and ensure value for money.\nWork closely with clients to deliver a true partnership and build long-term relationships.\nAct as the primary interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.\nEngage with potential clients as part of the bid team to secure new work.\nProduce, and deliver, health and safety plans and ensure statutory obligations relating to health, safety, and the environment are met, and ensure that every employee, contractor, partner and client returns home safely at the end of each day.\nLead cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project delivery on time and within budget and to meet customer expectations.\nThe Person\nSuccessful portfolio of Projects delivered (Mechanically biased)\nProven and extensive people management experience\nStrong familiarity with project management software\nFamiliarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or PMBOK.\nFull UK manual driving licence\nThe company is opposed to all forms of discrimination and will select for employment, training and promotion on the basis of suitability for the job and/ or merit.
