We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings.\nWe have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.\nWith plans to double our headcount over the coming years, supported by offices opening in new locations across the country and our strong investment pipeline, coupled with our expansion into new markets such as industrial power generation with our very own Energy-from-Waste facility, there is no better time to join the family here at Vital Energi.\nA few key responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain interactive PowerBI Dashboards, always looking for ways to improve efficiencies and reduce redundancy.\nTranslate business requirements into effective BI and reporting solutions\nWork with multiple datasets & data sources across a wide range of systems (SAAS, T-SQL, SharePoint)\nEnsure reports are accurate, consistent, timely and aligned with business definitions.\nSupport the ongoing enhancement of the organisations BI reporting environment.\nAct as the liaison between the business and the IT Department\nEducation & Experience:\nAt least 5 GCSE’s\nAt least 2 years’ experience in Reporting background, at least 2 years in Power BI\nFlexible approach to working, ability to work independently\nAbility to communicate with all levels of the business\nGreat time and task management skills\nQuick Learning ability\nGood Oral and Written Communication Skills\nA high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy\nConfident manner, with ability to work to deadlines, whilst remaining focused\nA full UK driving licence\nKnowledge:\nExperience with Business System Development / process flows\nKnowledge of database architecture and design\nExperience in SQL / Power BI\nA good understanding of PowerQuery & DAX\nCompetence with Microsoft Excel\nMicrosoft Fabric experience would be beneficial\nExperience of working alongside senior stakeholders across a range of departments\nExperience of working with a wide range of data i.e. Finance, Operational, Call Centre.\nExperience of working in an everchanging, Agile working environment.\nThe company is opposed to all forms of discrimination and will select for employment, training and promotion on the basis of suitability for the job and/ or merit.
