Ensuring that contractual obligations are identified and administered.\nVet contract documentation on receipt from Client to ensure compatibility with the Company’s Tender and subsequent negotiations\nProduce Commercial Risk Register for each contract. Monitor risk and assist in implementation of agreed mitigation measures\nPrepare and issue enquiries for Major Plant & Equipment and Sub-Contract packages. Vet quotations commercially and negotiate price and terms with vendors. Issue resultant Purchase Orders\nPrepare and submit Applications for Payment and/or Invoices, obtain Payment Certificates and progress Client Payments in accordance with contractual provisions\nMeasure, submit and agree Variations, Loss & Expense and/or Compensation Events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate prompt agreement of Final Accounts\nMonitor on-site record keeping. Prepare and issue Notices in accordance with contractual provisions\nPrepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations and Cash/Spend Profiles. Attend Contract Review Meetings\nAuthorisation and coding of Suppliers’ and Sub-Contractors’ Invoices and submission to Finance for payment\nMeasure, certify and agree Sub-Contractors interim valuations and final accounts. Prepare and issue contractual notices to Sub-Contractors\nWho we are looking for:\nA quantity surveyor who has a successful construction portfolio\nGood knowledge of NEC Contracts\nEducated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)\nMember of Profession Institution (e.g. MRICS or similar)\nHave knowledge and working experience of Mechanical / Electrical services and/ or utilities\nBe able to demonstrate commercial awareness/ acumen\nFull UK manual driving licence\nThe Package\nAttractive Salary\nCompany Car/ Car Allowance\nPension\nEAP scheme\n25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays.
