You’ll own the certification and trade requirements for each country we enter, build and manage the schedules required to get there, and help the company decide where we should launch next based on the regulatory and operational lift.\nThis is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can take a country like Japan, Australia, or the UAE and answer: What certifications and approvals do we need? What import/export requirements apply? How long will it take? What will it cost? And what needs to happen to get product on the ground?\nWhat you’ll own\nBuild and maintain a country-by-country certification and regulatory requirements matrix for Vital Lyfe products.\n\nOwn certification schedules and provide clear timelines for when products can legally enter and be sold in each market.\n\nManage product certification programs with external bodies and labs, including NSF, Nemko, and relevant government and military organizations.\n\nCoordinate with Engineering to identify certification requirements, required testing, documentation, product changes, and dependencies.\n\nOwn trade compliance planning, including import/export requirements, product classifications, documentation, country-of-origin requirements, customs considerations, and other market-entry requirements.\n\nPartner with Growth to evaluate new markets and recommend country rollout priorities based on certification complexity, timeline, cost, and commercial opportunity.\n\nIdentify regulatory and certification risks early and drive them to resolution before they impact launches.\n\nBuild and maintain the company's certification records, reports, approvals, and supporting documentation.\n\nCreate dashboards and schedules that give leadership a clear view of certification status and market-entry readiness across countries.\n\nBecome the internal source of truth for the question: “What does it take to sell this product in this country?”\n\nWhy Join Vital Lyfe?\nWork on high impact problems with global relevance\n\nHelp scale breakthrough technology in water security and climate resilience\n\nEarly ownership in a high growth, engineering led startup\n\nJoin a tight knit, mission driven team in a fast paced environment\n\nBuild long term career equity as we grow\n\nLocation Requirement: Ability to work 100% onsite in Torrance, CA (remote or hybrid work will not be considered)\nVital Lyfe is an Equal Opportunity Employer;
