Additionally, this position can be tasked with operating company equipment and vehicles and while operating said equipment or vehicles the employee will use the utmost care and discretion by adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety regulations, all federal/state transportation laws and any related company policies or procedures.\nJob Summary\nCandidate must be able and willing to:\nBarcode and process new boxes\nPull access list.\nRefile Boxes/Files\nBarcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction.\nPerform responsibilities related to bay consolidations.\nDemonstrate proficiency in operating a picker forklift or other company equipment.\nPrior to signing out equipment performs operations and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.\nProceeds safely to assigned area to pull, load and move boxes.\nWarehouse maintenance\nMake pickups and deliveries.\nVehicle maintenance\nOther duties as assigned.\nAt the end of each day, return equipment to the correct charging station, and prepares equipment for daily (overnight) charge.\nUnique Challenges\nStrong commitment to accuracy and quality\nBe self-motivated and work independently.\nMotivated by accountability to productivity, accuracy, and timeliness measurements.\nAlways maintain strict company confidentiality and security.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nValid driver’s license with clean MVR and clean background check\nHigh School Diploma minimum\nProblem solving skills to solve process problems.\nPhysically able to perform labor intensive tasks every day (Continuous lifting of 40-50 lb. boxes)\nGood eye/hand coordination and good motor skills\nWork well under time constraints and productivity requirements.\nWilling to follow established procedures yet be creative to offer suggestions for improvements.\nWilling to perform tasks at significant heights (12-14 ft.)\nAbility to use handheld computer, electric pickers, drive van and bob truck.\nFlexibility to accept different work hours and assignments.\nWillingness to work overtime.\nStrong customer service background\nDetail oriented work style\nMust be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.\nVRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
