Their disciplined approach to investment, asset management, and long-term ownership strategy supports portfolio quality and drives consistent, reliable performance for our investors and partners.\nPosition Summary\nThe position will be a key part of the North American investments and business development teams overseeing analysis and screening of investment opportunities, monitoring for and supporting responses to Canadian healthcare related real estate RFPs, coordinating due diligence workflows, leading the preparation of Investment Committee memoranda, Board materials, executive and business development presentations, and transaction reporting.This role will provide leadership to junior members of the team and will work closely with investment, business development, legal, finance and operations internal team members and external advisors. The role ensures transactions and business development pursuits progress in an organized manner from identification, screening and due diligence through presentations, approvals, closing and post-closing activities.\nThe position is well suited to a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can prepare quality presentations, manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously, exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve issues.\nKey Responsibilities\nInvestment Analysis and screening\n\nMonitoring for and preparing responses to government and hospital requests for qualifications and/or proposals respecting healthcare real estate solutions across Canada\n\nInvestment Committee, Board, Executive and External materials and presentation materials\n\nTransaction & Project Management\n\nDue Diligence & Transaction Support\n\nDocumentation, Data Rooms & File Management\n\nProcess Improvement & Governance\n\nPeople Leadership & Team Support\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Commerce, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, investment banking, institutional investing, private equity, pensions or a similar environment.\n\nDemonstrated experience coordinating multiple complex projects and transactions with competing deadlines.\n\nStrong understanding of commercial real estate transaction processes, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, due diligence, and closing processes.\n\nStrong financial modelling, valuation, analytical and writing skills.\n\nDemonstrated experience preparing Investment Committee, Board and executive materials and external presentations.\n\nExperience supervising, mentoring, or developing junior professionals.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.\n\nExperience with virtual data room platforms and Argus is considered an asset.\n\nCFA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.\n\nCore Competencies:\nExceptional organizational and project management skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\n\nInvestment analysis, underwriting, and financial acumen.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExecutive communication and presentation development.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.\n\nSound judgment, problem-solving ability, and discretion when handling confidential information.\n\nPeople leadership, coaching, and team development.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.\n\nSalary Range\n$115,000-$125,000 CAD per year.\n\nUse of AI in Recruitment\nVital Infrastructure Property Trust does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen, assess, or select applicants.
