Revenues in 2024 were $331bn.\nFor more information: vitol.com\n The Regional Tax Executive plays an essential role within the APAC Tax team, supporting the Regional Tax Managers with a focus on indirect tax compliance and tax system automation for APAC region, You are expected to assist in direct tax and transfer pricing compliance, where necessary, and will be given the opportunity to serve as a key liaison between the APAC Tax team and cross-functional business stakeholders on regional tax projects.\nResponsibilities:\nTax Systems & Technology Integration\nTriage tax issues raised by users to identify root causes and support/resolve accordingly.\nCollaborate with IT teams/system developers to translate business/tax requirements into technical solutions, as well as to test, implement and enhance tax technology solutions for automation and efficiency.\nParticipate in implementation projects for in-house developed tax engine & new e-invoicing scheme.\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies that can improve direct tax and indirect tax work processes.\n2. Tax Process Optimization & Risk Management\nSupport the Regional Tax Managers on tax risk management for APAC region, with a primary focus on Singapore entities.\nIdentify opportunities for streamlining and improving direct tax and indirect tax work processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nDesign and implement best practices to optimize workflows and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes in tax processes, systems and/or compliance requirements, including providing training to internal teams and users on process improvements, ensuring awareness and adherence to compliance standards.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of direct & indirect tax work processes and internal controls/procedures.\n3.
