Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.\nCurrently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic Local Manager - HR Administration, Learning & Development who will work for Telespazio BeNeLux, in the Netherlands with responsibility for The Netherlands and the Czech Republic. They shall report to the Head of People & Organisation and communicate to the equivalent colleague in Belgium.\nThe HR Administration, Learning & Development Manager for the Netherlands will be responsible for overseeing HR, the administration, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, driving the development and learning initiatives. This position will play a crucial role in stakeholder satisfaction, standardizing HR processes and supporting a cohesive HR strategy in collaboration with the Head of People & Organisation.\nWhat is expected from you:\n1. HR Administration and Compliance for the Netherlands & Czech Republic\nOversee HR Operations: Supervise all HR administrative processes, including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits management, contract administration, and employee records.\nLegal Compliance and Audit: Ensure HR practices comply with national regulations and labour laws in each country, working closely with legal teams and conducting regular audits to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.\nPayroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processes and in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws; manage benefits programs and ensure their relevance to attract and retain talent.\n2. Learning and Development\nTalent Development Strategy: Develop and implement training programs that support the growth of employees and align with business objectives.\nOnboarding and Integration: Manage onboarding programs that effectively integrate new employees, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported.\nPerformance Management and Coaching: Support managers in implementing performance reviews, setting objectives, and providing feedback; offer coaching to ensure continuous development and improvement.\nIdentify Training Needs and Solutions: Regularly assess skills gaps and development needs, proposing targeted training solutions (internal or external) to address these.\n3. Project Management and Process Improvement\nThe team consists of three HR Generalists and a junior Facility Coordinator and Health and Safety.\nProject Control and Monitoring: Lead HR projects for the Netherlands and Czech Republic setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and monitoring their progress to ensure success.\nProcess Optimization and Standardization: Identify and streamline HR processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase transparency across countries.\nData Management and Reporting: Ensure HR data is accurately collected, managed, and reported; utilize dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights to the Head of People & Organisation and guide decision-making.\n4. Team Leadership and Development\nManagement and Mentoring: Directly supervise the HR team in the Netherlands\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local and international managers, Talent Acquisition, HSE, and Finance to ensure alignment of HR practices with business needs. Work closely with the HR Manager in Belgium to ensure alignment of HR practices and initiativesacross both countries.\n\nFoster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of innovation and learning within the HR team, enabling them to improve processes and deliver high-impact results.\n5. HR responsibility for personnel issues, handling confidential situations and the rare termination of employment in collaboration from the legal team.\n6. Reporting, Dashboarding, and KPI Monitoring\nKPI Development and Tracking: Establish, track, and report on key HR performance indicators (KPIs) across countries, providing comprehensive reporting when requested.\nData-Driven Decision Making: Use HR data to identify trends, support strategic initiatives, and propose improvements.\nQuarterly and Annual Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on HR metrics, compliance, and learning & development outcomes for presentation to the senior stakeholders\nWhat you offer:\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field \nBasic understanding of Dutch employment law, employee lifecycle processes, and absence management\nFamiliarity with HR systems and Microsoft Office.\nRequired competencies & skills:\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nProactive and eager to learn.\nExcellent organizational and administrative skills.\nAbility to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance\nStrong attention to detail and confidentiality.\nExcellent command of English\nGood command of Dutch is an asset.\nProfessionalism\nFlexibility when required (not 9 to 5)\nWhat we offer:\nA one year contract renewable upon performance\n30 days of paid annual leave, plus the days Telespazio Katwjik is closed including public holidays (~12 days) based on a 40-hour working week;\n6 months fulltime mandatory onsite presence followed by a hybrid working scheme (3 days in the office and 2 days remote in the Netherlands)\nFlexible working hours;
