Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.\nThe European Space Agency is our biggest client and we provide highly qualified employees to many sites of ESA but mainly for ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we provide a permanent contract with great benefits, a good salary, a relocation package along with genuine support to our employees.\nTelespazio BeNeLux has an on-site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled Navigation SystemEngineer to work there.\nCandidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration\nWhat is expected from you:\nContribute to the definition, analysis, and consolidation of system requirements and their flow down to segments, focussing on Galileo services (as Open Service, Open Service Authentication, Public Regulated Service, Search and Rescue, ...).\nContribute to the definition and maintenance of segment requirements for both Galileo Space Segment and Galileo Ground Segment.\nSupport the development and design of simulators (SW) aimed in verifying compliance of technical documentation with the system concept, and to perform trade-off analyses for sizing the Data Dissemination infrastructure of Galileo 2nd Generation system.\nSupport system reviews through projects’ lifecycle on system engineering aspects, interfacing with other contractor companies, ESA and Galileo stakeholders.\nElaboration of technical and contractual documentation (DCN/DCP, RFW/RFD, DDF, DJF, IRDs, etc) related to Galileo 2nd Generation.\nPlan and follow tasks in a structured and pre-agreed manner with managers and stakeholders.\nWork in an international team and in cooperation with system engineering and security experts\nWhat you offer:\nMaster’s degree in aerospace, telecommunications, cybersecurity or other related engineering and science disciplines.\nKnowledge and experience in space system engineering applied to GNSS (preferably in Galileo).\nGood programming skills in Matlab, Python and/or C++. \nBasic Knowledge of requirements management processes and MBSE tools (e.g., Capella, DOORS).\n Eligible for EU security clearance from their national security administration\nAdditional requirements (nice to have)\nA Scaled Agile certification is considered an asset\nPhD in relevant topic is considered an asset\nLeadership and teamworking in a multi-industrial and multi-cultural environment\nWhat we offer:\nA competitive salary\n30 days of paid annual leave, plus the days ESTEC is closed including public holidays (~12 days) based on a 40-hour working week;\nHybrid working scheme (3 days in the office and 2 days remote in the Netherlands)\nFlexible working hours; you are in charge of your own agenda respecting core working hours\nFully paid collective extensive health insurance scheme;\nA good pension scheme with no personal contribution;\nA career development (Coursera membership + training budget);\nTravel allowance;\nExtensive relocation package\nWhere:\nYou will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio BeNeLux.
