Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.\nThe European Space Agency is our biggest client and we provide highly qualified employees to many sites of ESA but mainly for ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we provide a permanent contract with great benefits, a good salary, a relocation package along with genuine support to our employees.\nTelespazio BeNeLux has an on-site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled Software PA support Engineer to work there.\nCandidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration\nWhat is expected from you:\n The following task shall be performed in support to the ESA Work package Technical Responsible of the service:\nContribute to the establishing of the programmatic and technical software PA requirements within the framework of the ESA Software Product Assurance policy.\nEvaluate contractor’s plans, technical specifications and efforts proposed for the execution of the S/W PA programme, and their compliance with respect to the applicable baseline.\nReview of the project/mission PA plans and the compliance matrix w.r.t. the PA & Engineering Requirements.\nMonitor and evaluate the implementation of SW PA documentation, processes and procedures analyses, reports and technical notes.\nMonitoring of project/mission analysis activities in order to ensure proper implementation of the PA & Engineering Requirements, including attendance to project/mission reviews and meetings when requested.\nParticipate to project reviews, meetings, Configuration Control Boards, Nonconformance Review Boards and Software Review Boards.\nPrepare design trade-offs, analyses and reports using metrics to support project decisions.\nParticipate to software product evaluations and process assessments.\nEstablish and maintain databases to track NCRs, RFWs, action items etc. as required.\n\nWhat you offer:\nMaster’s degree in software engineering or computer science with background on space engineering.\nRelevant Software Product Assurance experience.\nFamiliarity with space product assurance practices together with a good working knowledge of appropriate working tools.\nPractical experience in applying ECSS standards, more specifically [RD-01], and[RD-02].\nAgile practices.\nQuality assurance for Machine Learning models.\nBig Data software architectures and life-cycles.\nConfiguration management of complex systems.\nData quality assuranceHands-on experience with static code analysis and tools.\nAlternative software development life-cycles, continuous integration and tools.\nSecurity assurance and security best practices\nSoftware engineering and PA in critical applications.\nSystem security analysis, design and associated tools\nSecurity accreditation and certification methodologies and processes.\nSafety certification\nWhat we offer:\nA competitive salary\n30 days of paid annual leave, plus the days ESTEC is closed including public holidays (~12 days) based on a 40-hour working week;\nHybrid working scheme (3 days in the office and 2 days remote in the Netherlands)\nFlexible working hours; you are in charge of your own agenda respecting core working hours\nFully paid collective extensive health insurance scheme;\nA good pension scheme with no personal contribution;\nA career development (Coursera membership + training budget);\nTravel allowance;\nExtensive relocation package\nWhere:\nYou will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio BeNeLux.
