Together we help our customers and their patients to fulfill the dream of having a baby.\nPosition Summary\nThe Laboratory Assistant plays a vital support role within the laboratory, working under the supervision of senior laboratory personnel to ensure smooth operations and accurate data collection. This position supports laboratory testing and research activities through sample preparation, equipment maintenance, inventory management, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a collaborative team culture. This is a fully onsite position based in Miami, Florida.\nKey Responsibilities\nLabel, organize, and prepare samples for analysis in accordance with established laboratory protocols.\n\nClean, calibrate, maintain, and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas.\n\nOrder, receive, inventory, and properly store laboratory supplies, materials, and reagents.\n\nPrepare solutions, reagents, and laboratory apparatus as directed.\n\nAdhere to all laboratory safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.\n\nHandle and dispose of hazardous materials and biological waste in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.\n\nMaintain accurate laboratory records, logs, and documentation.\n\nConduct quality control checks on samples, reagents, and laboratory processes.\n\nIdentify and report minor equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.\n\nAssist laboratory technologists and scientists with routine laboratory activities and workflows.\n\nSupport the Laboratory Manager with inspection preparation, audits, and compliance activities.\n\nMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the laboratory environment.\n\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nAssociate Degree in a scientific discipline or related field.\n\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or related technical environment.\n\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\n\nAbility to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.\n\nMust be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\n Benefits\nPaid Time Off and 10 Paid Holidays\n\n401(k) with Employer Match\n\nMedical, Dental, Vision\n\nIVF Coverage to support family building needs\n\nGAP Insurance\n\nBasic Life and AD&D Coverage\n\nShort- and Long-Term Disability\n\nOptional AFLAC Supplemental Policies\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nFlexible Spending & Health Savings Account\n\nAn offer of employment is contingent on the successful passing of a background check.
