Working across multiple software development teams, you will drive execution of the software roadmap by turning priorities into predictable deliveries through close collaboration with Project Managers, Products Owners, Engineering Managers, and Scrum Masters.\nYou will improve planning, increase delivery transparency through meaningful metrics, remove organizational impediments, and help teams continuously improve how they work.\nThis is an opportunity to shape the future of software delivery in a growing medical device organization where engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, and agile execution in a stage-gate model are equally important.\nYou will be based in Aarhus, where you will join the dedicated Software Development team of 27 colleagues.\nYour impact\nDrive execution of the software development roadmap across multiple software development teams.\n\nEnsure software work is realistically estimated, planned, and delivered according to agree milestones, scope, and quality expectations.\n\nPartner with Project Managers to establish realistic software milestone plans aligned with overall project plan and ensure software delivery commitments are met.\n\nCoordinate software deliveries across teams, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and delivery bottlenecks.\n\nImplement delivery metrics and dashboards that provide visibility into delivery performance, predictability, flow, and capacity.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives based on delivery data and team feedback.\n\nCoach and support Scrum Masters in enabling high-performing teams.\n\nHelp software development teams adopt pragmatic agile practices that improve ownership, collaboration, and execution.\n\nIdentify and remove organizational bottlenecks that impact delivery across teams.\n\nFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the Software Development organization.\n\nWhat you bring\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.\n\n8+ years of experience in software delivery, software project management, agile leadership, or a similar role within a software development organization.\n\nExperience driving process improvements within a software development organization.\n\nStrong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum, and the ability to apply them pragmatically.\n\nProven experience establishing delivery metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement practices.\n\nStrong planning and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance long-term roadmap execution and changing business priorities.\n\nExperience with Jira and modern software development tooling.\n\nExperience from regulated industries, such as medical devices, or other quality-driven environments, is an advantage.\n\nProficiency in English; Danish proficiency is a plus.\n\nWho you are\nA proactive leader who enjoys creating clarity in complex environments, through applied structure and engagement.\n\nA strong facilitator who builds alignment across engineering teams and stakeholders.\n\nData-driven in your decision making, using insights to improve delivery rather than simply reporting status.\n\nComfortable challenging existing ways of working while bringing people along through change.\n\nCollaborative, pragmatic, and focused on enabling others to succeed.\n\nAble to build trust across both technical and business functions while maintaining focus on execution.\n\nSuccess in this role means\nSoftware roadmap delivery becomes increasingly predictable and transparent.\n\nDelivery metrics and dashboards provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.\n\nSoftware milestone planning becomes more realistic through strong collaboration with Project Managers and engineering teams.\n\nScrum Masters and software development teams become increasingly capable, empowered, and self-sufficient.\n\nCross-team dependencies and delivery risks are identified and addressed early.\n\nThe Software Development organization becomes more adaptable, with improved ability to scale delivery capacity and respond to changing priorities.\n\nTeams spend less time on coordination overhead and more time delivering valuable software.\n\nContact information\nWe review applications on an ongoing basis and will close the recruitment once we have found the right candidate.
