Job Description

ViTrox is a Penang-based design and manufacturing company that puts today’s most imperative digital transformation with compassionate innovation at the heart of its brand. We turn the best machine vision technology into trusted solutions for semiconductor manufacturers.

Now, we are looking for an IT system engineer who thrives on collaboration and wants to push the boundaries of what is possible today!

Responsibilities

Design, implement and monitor the company-wide IT infrastructure, platform, and operation support
Coordinate and implement Linux OS works, Storage Area Networks (SAN) servers, network (LAN / WAN), database and high availability cluster computing services
Work with vendors to install and maintain computer systems and networks
Propose ideas/solutions to problems and constantly improve existing systems
Stay up to date with the latest technology and maintain best practices on managing systems/services across all environments

Key Qualifications

Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or other computing-related course
Good analytical and communication skills
Experience in using Epicor ERP / MRP / MES
Knowledge of ISO27001 ISMS will be a bonus
Technical skills: Linux OS ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE, VMWare, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Server, Samba, Cluster computing will be added advantage
