Job Description

ViTrox is a Penang-based design and manufacturing company that puts today’s most imperative digital transformation with compassionate innovation at the heart of its brand. We turn the best machine vision technology into trusted solutions for semiconductor manufacturers, and now we are looking for an R&D mechanical engineer to be part of the ViTrox experience and play a critical role in research, designing, prototyping and handling the project management documentation for advanced automated machines.

Responsibilities

Research, design and develop vision inspection equipment for various industries, particularly for printed circuit board assembly and semiconductors
Support hardware-related customer requests including troubleshooting and customisation during benchmarking and site installation
Initiate engineering change to achieve the purpose of quality improvement or cost down
Conduct a feasibility study on the performance of equipment, components and systems

Key Qualifications

Background in Mechanical / Mechatronics or equivalent
Proficient in Solidworks or related CAD software
Experience in machine design, product development and project management will be an added advantage
Knowledge in motion control / electrical & electronics / machine vision will be beneficial
Innovative and strive for excellence
Good problem-solving skills
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
