This role ensures accurate order processing and efficient production scheduling based on capacity, material availability, internal lead times, and customer delivery requirements. The position works closely with Customers, Sales, Production and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support on-time delivery (OTD).\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nImport customer orders into the Vitrum ERP system and verify order accuracy.\nCommunicate with customers and Sales to resolve order discrepancies and clarify requirements.\nBatch and plan production orders based on capacity, internal lead times, material availability, and target ship date.\nRelease and optimize production schedules to maximize throughput, improve yield, and support on-time delivery.\nMonitor production schedules, identify potential delays or constraints, and adjust priorities as required.\nPrint and distribute manufacturing orders, labels, and other required production documents.\nMaintain accurate system data and follow established planning procedures and work instructions.\nIdentify process inefficiencies, report issues, and support continuous improvement and planning automation initiatives.\nPerform other duties as required to support the P&S department.\nSkills & Competencies:\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate across departments and follow issues through to resolution.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, ERP systems, and planning software.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing workflows, production capacity, and scheduling principles.\nSelf-motivated, accountable, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nExperience in production planning, scheduling, order processing, or manufacturing is preferred.\nERP system and production optimization software experience is an asset.\nKnowledge of glass manufacturing processes is an
