Though we’re currently working remotely, the chosen candidate must reside in or be within easy reach of the GTA as they will need to work in-office as needed periodically.\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior QA Analyst is an integral member of the manual Quality Assurance team and is responsible for manual testing of Viv’s web and mobile applications to ensure proper functionality while adhering to defined project timelines. Through the use of a variety of tools, the Senior QA Analyst works to continuously improve software products and applications. This role involves leading manual testing projects, writing and executing test cases, logging defects, and investigating issues. The Senior QA Analyst is involved “hands-on” with the development team, ensures that all testing is thoroughly completed and that the software functions with the highest standard of quality possible.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop a deep understanding of Product under test and associated requirements.\nEnd-to-end manualtesting native mobile apps and web platform including creating test plans, test case development, test execution, and defect remediation.\nAccurately groom stories so that they account for testing and quality metrics by using your knowledge and experience to help our Scrum teams in a fast-paced environment.\nCollaborate with Project stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, design test cases, and create testing artifacts (Test Strategy/Test Plan).\nEnsure end-to-end quality of our products and services by identifying and executing the appropriate testing strategies.\nCollaborate with developers and other team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective collaboration; recommending changes to release plans, as needed, to address critical quality issues.\nExecute test cases within the agreed upon timelines ensuring the application is performing as expected.\nAnalyze test results, investigate, report, and track product issues, thereby improving overall quality.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in a manual QA role, with at least 2 years in a senior manual QA role in software testing environments for web-based and mobile applications.\nAdept with Agile scrum methodologies.\nUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance methods and testing principles.\nStrong experience in functional, integration, ad hoc and exploratory testing methodologies.\nExperience developing and maintaining test cases.\nGood communication skills and a team player.\nAttention to detail, tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn the product.\nDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nAn ability to learn, adapt and grow in response to challenges within the healthcare industry.\nPrevious startup experience is highly preferred.\nNice To Have\nCertification in QA or software development (ISTQB, CSTE).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExperience with POSTMAN.\nExperience in data analysis.\nFluency in Spanish, Russian or other languages is an asset.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary and benefits.\nA flexible and energetic corporate culture that works with your lifestyle.\nA chance to work with a strong team that values the opinions of every member.\nOpportunities to be mentored and grow your skills as a Senior QA Analyst.\nWe embrace the uniqueness and perspectives of the community of people who work here and the clients for whom we care.
