You’ll monitor stock levels and material requirements, coordinate orders and deliveries, and keep information accurate in the relevant systems. When shortages, delays or discrepancies come up, you’ll work with suppliers and colleagues to resolve them quickly and keep operations on track.\nThe position is based in Podensac, in the Gironde department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, south-east of Bordeaux. Start date, duration and working pattern will be confirmed with candidates.\nMain responsibilities\nPlan and coordinate material requirements in line with production and project schedules\nMonitor stock levels and flag shortages, surpluses or slow-moving items\nRaise and follow up material requests and orders with purchasing and suppliers\nTrack deliveries and keep internal teams informed of expected arrival dates and delays\nCoordinate the receipt, checking and storage of materials with warehouse teams\nKeep material data, stock records and transactions accurate in the ERP or inventory system\nInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in quantities, documentation or deliveries\nSupport stock counts and inventory reconciliation\nHelp improve material flow, planning accuracy and stock control processes\nRequirements\nEssential\nExperience in materials coordination, material planning, inventory control or a similar supply chain role\nExperience working in an industrial, production or manufacturing environment\nGood working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems\nStrong organisational skills and able to manage several priorities at once\nAccurate, detail-focused approach to data and documentation\nGood communication skills and comfortable working with suppliers and internal teams\nAble to work from Podensac\nDesirable\nExperience with MRP processes and material planning tools\nGood Excel skills for tracking and reporting\nExperience supporting stock counts and inventory audits\nThe offer\nContract role with an industrial organisation in Podensac\nCentral role connecting purchasing, production and warehouse teams\nStart date, duration and rate to be confirmed with candidates\nThis contract role suits a well-organised materials or supply chain professional who likes keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
