Our clients include luxury resort and hospitality brands, premium fitness chains, and large multifamily communities - properties where the pool isn't an afterthought, it's part of the guest experience. We pair experienced field technicians with VivoPoint, our proprietary water management and remote monitoring platform, so our teams show up informed and leave a clear record behind. Technicians are the front line of that promise.\nThe Opportunity\nThe Professional Services Technician II is our advanced field role. You'll own a route of recurring client visits at professionally managed commercial properties, and you'll independently diagnose and resolve issues across chemical automation, sensors, controllers, and circulation systems, install and commission VivoPoint feed systems, and take on new site launches, upgrades, and remediation work. A Technician II determines the root cause of issues, taking a proactive approach to problem solving, as well as recommendations to clients.\nThis is a strong fit if you already have hands-on technical experience and want to build a specialized, in-demand skill set in commercial aquatics. It's also a good fit if you're in pool service today and want to move from residential or small-commercial work into large, professionally managed properties with real equipment, real standards, and real advancement.\nHow We Onboard at This Level\nEvery VivoAquatics technician completes our foundational qualification process, regardless of prior experience - it's how we guarantee consistency across markets, systems, and the standards our clients hold us to. For an experienced hire, that's an accelerated validation built around what you already know, and you'll be compensated from day one at a level that reflects the experience you bring. CPO certification is scheduled and fully covered by VivoAquatics as part of onboarding.\nWhat Defines This Role\nThis role is built on doing the fundamentals consistently, at properties where consistency is key and then going further than the fundamentals when a site needs it.\nMost days begin with your route already built in VivoPoint, along with remote monitoring data telling you what each site looked like overnight. You'll move between properties - a resort pool complex in the morning, a fitness club and a multifamily community in the afternoon - and each stop follows a rhythm: review the data, walk the site, test the water, service the feed equipment, handle what's in scope, document the visit, and check out with the property contact.\nReal diagnostics, not basic troubleshooting. You resolve intermediate issues across automation, instrumentation, and circulation without escalating.\nInstallation, not just repair. You install and commission VivoPoint chemical feed systems, not just service them.\nSolutions, not just status. You bring the Professional Services Manager a diagnosis and a path forward, not just a problem.\nPrevention, not just fixes. You identify patterns across sites and drive corrective action that reduces repeat failures.\nWhat You'll Do\nRoutine Service & Water Chemistry\nPerform scheduled onsite visits for new and existing clients according to route schedule and contract scope\nConduct chemical water testing and provide adjustment recommendations to keep bodies of water balanced, safe, and code-compliant\nHandle, transport, store, and apply pool chemicals safely and in accordance with company and site protocols\nAct decisively on out-of-range conditions, and recognize the smaller set of situations that genuinely warrant escalation\nAdvanced Diagnostics & Instrumentation\nDiagnose and resolve common and intermediate issues across chemical automation, sensors, and controllers\nCalibrate, verify, and troubleshoot probes and related instrumentation to maintain accurate readings and reliable automation\nTroubleshoot and repair VivoPoint-related systems, including controllers, modems, feed devices, tubing, and injectors\nResolve the majority of field issues independently, escalating only genuinely complex or high-risk situations\nWork confidently with electrical and plumbing systems and power tools in equipment and pump rooms\nEquipment Maintenance, Installation & Projects\nClean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment\nPerform installation, repair, and maintenance of VivoPoint chemical feed systems\nPerform repairs and maintenance on circulation systems in addition to pumps, filters, and heaters\nSupport new site launches, system upgrades, and remediation work from mobilization through completion\nApply intimate working knowledge of the VivoAquatics warranty process to ensure parts and labor are handled correctly\nSite Performance & Estimating\nIdentify recurring issues across assigned sites and recommend corrective actions that improve long-term performance\nProvide accurate parts and labor estimates covering both repairs and recommended improvements\nAnticipate risks to service continuity at high-visibility properties and raise them before they affect the client\nDocumentation & Communication\nRecord all service visit information in VivoPoint - manual readings, service orders, service reports, equipment profiles, and notes\nCapture photo documentation of jobsites, projects, and completed work\nCommunicate directly with managers and billing regarding parts used, job completion, and follow-up needs\nCoordinate with the Professional Services Manager on priorities, site status, risks, and recommended technical solutions\nInterface professionally with property engineering and management teams, explaining technical findings in deliverable way to the client\nTeam Support\nProvide informal field support, coaching, and technical guidance to Junior Technician’s\nShare diagnostic approaches and site-specific knowledge that strengthens the wider team\nAssist on larger installations and projects, including parts and equipment pickup and general jobsite support\nSupervisory responsibilities: None - may provide informal field guidance to Junior Technician’s\nProfessionalism & Site Presence\nModel PPE compliance, safe chemical handling, and professional site conduct at all times\nRepresent VivoAquatics professionally on client properties, working alongside engineering, housekeeping, lifeguard, and management staff in a professional & respectful manner\nMaintain thorough working knowledge of each management company's and property's policies and site-specific requirements\nKeep your assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and current on its service schedule\nManage parts and equipment inventory on your vehicle;
