Our work culture fosters collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking an experienced Federal Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in federal acquisition and contracting processes to support procurement operations within a federal or Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and DoD acquisition directives, with the ability to manage the full procurement lifecycle from acquisition planning through contract award and administration.\nThis role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of performing cost and price analysis, resolving complex procurement challenges, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting acquisition strategies in a fast-paced federal environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage all phases of the federal procurement lifecycle, including acquisition planning, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, contract award, administration, modifications, and closeout.\nSupport pre-award and post-award contracting activities in accordance with federal acquisition regulations.\nDevelop acquisition strategies, procurement documentation, and contract files.\nPrepare solicitations, Statements of Work (SOW), Justifications & Approvals (J&A), and evaluation documentation.\nApply and interpret FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition policies to ensure procurement compliance.\nEnsure acquisition activities comply with federal procurement regulations, agency policies, and contractual requirements.\nSupport audits, procurement reviews, and compliance assessments.\nConduct cost and price analysis of vendor proposals and quotations.\nEvaluate pricing structures and develop negotiation objectives.\nSupport source selection activities and proposal evaluations.\nAnalyze procurement data to support acquisition decisions and negotiation strategies.\nCollaborate with program managers, contracting officers, finance teams, legal counsel, and technical stakeholders.\nCommunicate procurement recommendations, acquisition risks, and contract status updates.\nProvide guidance to internal teams on procurement procedures and acquisition planning.\nUtilize Microsoft Office Suite to develop reports, procurement documentation, and acquisition tracking materials.\nUse PD2 (Procurement Desktop-Defense) or equivalent federal procurement systems for acquisition management activities.\nMaintain accurate procurement records and contract documentation.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree.\nMinimum 5 years of federal procurement or contracting experience supporting GS-1102 functions or equivalent.\nStrong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition directives.\nExperience managing the complete procurement lifecycle.\nExperience conducting price analysis and cost analysis for federal procurements.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting DoD procurement programs.\nExperience with PD2 (Procurement Desktop-Defense).\nFAC-C or DAWIA contracting certification.\nExperience with source selection and negotiation support.\nKnowledge of contract closeout and contract administration processes.\nExperience supporting simplified acquisitions, competitive procurements, and task order
