You'll combine your technical knowledge with planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to ensure installations and deployments are delivered smoothly, safely, and on schedule.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in preparing sites, coordinating equipment, supporting deployments, and resolving technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Delivery Support\nSupport Project Managers in the planning and execution of customer projects.\nCoordinate technical activities throughout project delivery.\nAssist in developing deployment, installation, and commissioning plans.\nMonitor project progress and identify risks, issues, or dependencies.\nSite Surveys & Readiness\nConduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements.\nProduce clear survey reports, including photographs, measurements, and recommendations.\nVerify site readiness before installation activities commence.\nIdentify infrastructure, power, communications, or environmental requirements.\nInstallation Coordination\nCoordinate installation activities with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.\nEnsure equipment, tools, and resources are available ahead of scheduled works.\nSupport installation and commissioning activities where required.\nAct as a technical point of contact during deployment activities.\nEquipment & Logistics Management\nWork with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to ensure equipment is ordered and delivered on time.\nTrack equipment allocation and deployment schedules.\nVerify equipment configurations and readiness before dispatch.\nSupport inventory and asset management processes.\nTechnical Documentation\nMaintain accurate project records and documentation.\nProduce technical reports, installation documentation, and handover packs.\nUpdate project plans, risk logs, and action trackers as required.\nSupport customer acceptance and project closure activities.\nStakeholder Engagement\nBuild strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.\nAttend project meetings and provide technical updates.\nSupport issue resolution and escalation management.\nEnsure customer expectations are managed effectively throughout delivery.\nHealth, Safety & Quality\nComply with all health and safety requirements during site activities.\nEnsure installations meet company and customer quality standards.\nPromote safe working practices and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\nExperience working in a field engineering, installation, service engineering, or technical support environment.\nStrong understanding of hardware installations and technical deployments.\nExperience conducting site surveys or technical assessments.\nExcellent organisational and coordination skills.\nAbility to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfortable working with customers and external stakeholders.\nFull driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.\nDesirable\nExperience supporting technology deployment projects.\nKnowledge of networking, communications, or transport technologies.\nExperience within public transport, ticketing, fare collection, or infrastructure projects.\nExperience and/or qualifications relating to electrical or mechanical engineering.\nUnderstanding of project delivery methodologies.\nPRINCE2 Foundation, APM, or equivalent project qualification.\nExperience working with subcontractors and installation partners.\nBenefits\nWhat’s in it for you?\nBesides the opportunity to work for a global company that is customer and people focused, we offer:\nA focus on learning and development\nA great team of like-minded professionals\nPrivate Healthcare\nIncome Protection Scheme\nPension\nGroup Life Assurance\nCycle to Work Scheme\nElectric Car Benefit Scheme\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nEyecare and Spectacle Vouchers\nSounds good?
