You will manage individual work efforts and projects to deliver insightful data analysis which may include strategic recommendations, effective project management, technical or operational consulting expertise.\nResponsibilities:\nCultivate and expand senior client relationships and be a key contributor to the growth and culture of the Life Sciences consulting team.\nAct as a thought partner to project teams and clients, helping shape strategic options and data approach methodology.\nPresent research methodology approach, key insights and strategic recommendations to clients.\nDesign and lead quantitative analytics that generate insights and hypothesis generation that inform critical business questions.\nResearch and apply appropriate AI tools to accelerate analysis, develop new frameworks and enhance both individual and team workflows.\nDesign research tools and methodologies applicable to address and inform decision-making for project needs.\nTranslate complex findings into executive-ready deliverables including models, slides and concise written narratives that clearly articulate options, trade-offs and recommended actions.\nWork with project teams to develop deliverables including methodologies, data analyses, and strategic recommendations.\nPerform data analysis, produce quantitative modeling, and interpret qualitative data to create actionable recommendations and inform business strategy.\nContribute to business development by shaping proposals and identifying follow-on opportunities with existing clients.\nQualifications:\nRelevant degree preferred. \n5 or more years of relevant experience in life science strategy consulting required.\nLife sciences strategy consulting experience across more than one sector such as pharma, biotech, medical devices, and MedTech is required.\nAdvance proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and graphs is required.\nDemonstrated technical and analytical capabilities to extract key insights from multiple disparate data sources required.\nExperience working with teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.\nExperience applying AI-enabled tools including generative AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics platforms to accelerate analysis, develop insights, and support strategic recommendations required.\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools highly preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to engage confidently with senior executives, ask provocative questions, and facilitate productive, decision-making discussions.\nDemonstrated strategic thinking and hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills; able to connect disparate data points from multiple sources into a coherent story.\nExceptional storytelling and communication capabilities in writing and in presentations, ability to simplify complexity for non-technical audiences.\nComfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias for option generations and moving work forward based on imperfect information.\nCollaborative, low-ego teammate with high learning agility, skilled at mentoring and receiving coaching, and contributing to a positive, high-performance team culture.\nIntellectual curiosity about how life sciences companies create value and a drive to stay ahead of emerging trends.\nAbility to create well-structured, compelling communications for internal and external audiences.\nWillingness to travel.\nEstimated Hiring Range:\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
