You will work as an independent member of an Agile development team, partnering with software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure application quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will help advance test automation, improve testing processes, and support the delivery of scalable software solutions that meet client and business needs.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to identify testing needs, risks, and dependencies.\nDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, and supporting documentation.\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python, or similar technologies.\nBuild reusable automation components and contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks.\nExecute manual and automated functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.\nValidate application functionality and data through SQL queries and database analysis.\nInvestigate test failures and determine root causes related to application defects, test issues, data problems, or environment conditions.\nDocument, prioritize, track, and verify software defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and improve solution quality.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, automation design, and software quality.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor automated test execution results.\nImprove automation reliability by identifying and addressing unstable, inefficient, or flaky tests.\nContribute to test coverage analysis, quality metrics, release readiness assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport test environment configuration, test data preparation, release validation, and Agile planning activities.\nQualifications:\nRelevant degree preferred.\n2 or more years of relevant experience required.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Python, or comparable technologies required.\nWorking knowledge of software testing principles, test design methodologies, and software development lifecycle practices required.\nExperience testing web-based applications and user-facing software solutions required.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts required.\nExperience troubleshooting software defects, analyzing test failures, and validating corrective actions required.\nFamiliarity with Git or similar source-control systems required.\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution processes required.\nExperience with Python testing frameworks such as pytest preferred.\nFamiliarity with APIs, REST services, HTTP concepts, browser developer tools, and web application architecture preferred.\nExperience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work management and defect tracking platforms preferred.\nFamiliarity with accessibility, performance, security, or cross-browser testing practices preferred.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional Agile teams.\nYou must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.\nEstimated Hiring Range:\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
