You will solve complex technical challenges, contribute to the delivery of scalable enterprise solutions, and bring innovative perspectives to the use of existing technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence technical direction, and mentor engineers while supporting the delivery of solutions for strategic initiatives, including Project Ascension.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain enterprise software applications.\nDevelop software solutions for complex initiatives spanning multiple technology domains and systems.\nLead story refinement, estimation, and backlog grooming activities to support Agile delivery.\nDrive feature-level architecture and design discussions that promote scalable and maintainable solutions.\nContribute to product-level architecture decisions and long-term technology strategy.\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.\nRecommend improvements to engineering standards, development practices, and operational processes.\nIdentify emerging technologies, technical trends, and opportunities to improve solution delivery.\nMentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code review activities.\nSupport Agile development practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nRelevant degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering preferred.\n5 or more years of relevant experience required.\nExperience with SQL development, database design, query optimization, and DDL/DML operations required.\nJava/C#/.NET development while utilizing technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Java, Spring MVC, JPA or similar experience required.\nExperience developing front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular required.\nExperience building and supporting RESTful APIs and integrated application architectures required.\nEDI/document integration experience with Boomi, Axway highly preferred, Sterling or Mulesoft preferred.\nExperience with Agile delivery, TDD, CI/CD, and effective use of Copilot/AI-assisted development preferred.\nExperience working in Agile development environments utilizing continuous integration, automated testing, and modern engineering practices preferred.\nExperience working within enterprise-scale distributed software development environments preferred.\nExperience with cloud technologies required, Microsoft Azure preferred.\nEstimated Hiring Range:\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
