We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.\nResponsibilities:\nRequired Responsibilities:\nLead technical design and day-to-day engineering execution while contributing hands-on to software development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nDesign and develop scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, distributed systems, and AI-enabled solutions.\nTranslate product requirements and architectural direction into technical designs, implementation plans, and production-ready software.\nDevelop AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), enterprise data, and external tools.\nBuild reusable software components, services, integration patterns, and frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and solution scalability.\nApply software engineering practices for automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, observability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nImplement secure integration patterns, access controls, error handling, monitoring, and operational safeguards across software and AI solutions.\nMentor engineers, provide technical guidance, conduct code and design reviews, and promote engineering standards across development teams.\nPreferred Responsibilities:\nDevelop reusable AI capabilities for orchestration, model integration, tool integration, state management, evaluation, and observability.\nPartner with Architecture, Security, and engineering teams to advance software and AI engineering standards, reference architectures, and responsible AI practices.\nEstimated Hiring Range:\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
