Reporting to the Line Manager, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the full lifecycle of our ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions — from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, training, and ongoing support. \nThis is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement, problem-solving, and business process improvement. The role offers significant opportunities for career development within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. \n\nKey Responsibilities \nEngage with customers to analyse, understand, and document business requirements, translating operational needs into clear functional specifications. \n\nEvaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable ERP and BI solutions, presenting well-reasoned options and business cases. \n\nDesign and implement end-to-end business application solutions aligned with customer business processes and objectives. \n\nConfigure, customise, and enhance ERP / BI applications, reports, and workflows to meet customer requirements. \n\nConduct comprehensive testing of system modifications and enhancements, maintaining appropriate documentation and evidence of test results prior to deployment. \n\nDeliver user training sessions and develop supporting documentation, including user manuals, training guides, and process documentation. \n\nProvide timely and effective troubleshooting, technical support, and issue resolution to customers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. \n\nMaintain and continuously develop technical expertise in the ERP and BI solutions represented by the organisation. \n\nKeep abreast of emerging technologies, product updates, and industry best practices. \n\nSupport the sales team by providing pre-sales consultancy, solution presentations, and product demonstrations. \n\nCollaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. \n\nPerform any other duties relevant to the position as may be assigned by management. \n\nRequirements \nMQF Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. \n\nMinimum of 2 years' experience within the IT, business applications, ERP, financial systems, or related industry in a support, implementation, consultancy, or technical role. \n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a structured and efficient manner. \n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n\nFluency in written and spoken English and preferably also Maltese. \n\nAbility to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. \n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. \n\nDesirable \nHands-on experience in the implementation, support, or administration of ERP systems. \n\nExperience working with multiple ERP modules and / or across different industry sectors. \n\nKnowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and finance-related business applications. \n\nExperience with relational databases, database administration, reporting tools, and data analysis. \n\nExperience in customer-facing consultancy, training delivery, or business process analysis. \n\nFamiliarity with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and reporting solutions.
