This is a senior, technical leadership role for someone with very strong SAP EWM and warehouse automation experience who can ramp up quickly and make an immediate impact.\nYou will work closely with the client’s internal SAP team, implementation partners and external automation vendors. You will provide technical leadership and drive key design and integration decisions. As the link between the PMO, SAP functional teams, architects and developers, you will keep development moving smoothly from requirements through build, testing, defect resolution and deployment. You will also make sure SAP EWM integrates seamlessly with warehouse automation (ASRS) systems.\nRequirements\nTechnical Leadership\nLead end-to-end technical design and development of SAP EWM warehouse automation solutions\nDrive key design and integration decisions across SAP EWM and automation systems\nDefine development standards, architecture patterns and integration frameworks for EWM and ASRS\nReview and approve technical specifications, development objects and solution designs\nProvide hands-on technical leadership for EWM custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms and workflows\nASRS Integration Ownership\nServe as the primary technical contact for ASRS and automation vendors\nCoordinate interface design, message mapping, error handling, acknowledgements and exception processing between SAP EWM and vendor systems\nDeliver inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment and pallet movement integration processes\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Management\nWork closely with the client’s internal SAP team, implementation partners and external vendors\nAlign multiple teams and vendors around shared priorities, decisions and timelines\nCommunicate status, risks and technical decisions clearly to the PMO and program leadership\nDevelopment Pipeline & Delivery\nMaintain a prioritised, development-ready backlog aligned with project milestones\nMake sure requirements, specifications, dependencies and approvals are complete before development begins\nManage work through Ready → Assigned → Development → Unit Test → Functional Validation → Transport → Complete\nControl work-in-progress, and resolve stalled work, bottlenecks and resource constraints\nTranslate project plans into a development demand plan and balance it against available capacity\nGive the PMO clear visibility into status, capacity, blockers, risks and upcoming demand\nQuality & Governance\nEnforce development standards, documentation, technical and code reviews, and unit testing\nCoordinate delivery of RICEFW objects, ABAP, BAdIs, APIs, IDocs, SAP AIF, Fiori and related integrations\nMake sure development is ready for SIT and UAT, and drive root-cause resolution of recurring defects\nSupport the program through design, build, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare\nRequirements\nExperience\nSenior, lead-level SAP EWM technical professional with a hands-on approach\n8+ years of SAP technical experience\n5+ years of SAP EWM implementation experience\n3+ years leading warehouse automation or ASRS integration projects\nExperience working directly with leading warehouse automation vendors\nProven ability to ramp up quickly and deliver in a fast-paced program environment\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain Systems or a related field\nTechnical Skills\nSAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, BAdIs and enhancements, SAP AIF, IDocs, APIs, SOAP/REST services, middleware integration, and event-driven integration architectures\nWarehouse Automation Knowledge\nASRS integration, conveyance systems, WCS, WES, handling units, RF transactions, automated pallet movement, inventory automation and material flow systems\nSoft Skills\nStrong collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple teams and vendors\nClear communicator with program leadership and technical teams alike\nPreferred\nSAP EWM
