Then you might be just the DevOps Engineer we’re looking for.\nWhat will your day look like?\nIn the role as our new DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, automating and operating a modern cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure. Your job is to create the infrastructure, tools and processes that enable development teams to deploy and run applications safely, reliably and independently.\nMore specifically, your tasks include:\nDesigning, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.\nDeveloping and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.\nCreating reusable Terraform modules and supporting multiple environments, such as development, testing and production.\nDeploying and operating Kubernetes platforms, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nManaging the Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling, security and availability.\nSupporting containerised applications and Kubernetes workloads.\nImplementing and maintaining GitOps workflows using Flux CD.\nManaging application and infrastructure deployments through Git repositories.\nBuilding and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.\nCreating self-service capabilities that allow development teams to deploy applications more efficiently.\nCollaborating with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform adoption.\nAutomating operational tasks and continuously improving platform reliability.\nSupporting cloud governance, security, access management and cost optimisation practices.\nMonitoring the platform and troubleshooting production incidents.\nPerforming root-cause analysis and helping prevent recurring issues.\nContributing to platform standards, technical documentation and engineering best practices.\nWho are you going to work with?\n You will work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide the tools and processes they need to deploy and operate their applications effectively.\nThe position offers a great opportunity for you to make a personal impact on the way engineering teams work, while helping shape and improve a modern cloud platform.\nWhat do you bring to the table?\nYou are a hands-on, proactive and collaborative engineer with a genuine passion for cloud technology, automation and platform reliability. You enjoy solving complex technical problems and creating simple, repeatable solutions that can be used by other engineering teams.\nYou take ownership of your work and are comfortable supporting live production environments. You are also able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and enjoy helping development teams adopt new tools and ways of working.\nIn addition, you have:\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.\nExperience designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.\nKnowledge of Azure networking, identity management, access control and security.\nProven experience using Terraform to create and manage cloud infrastructure.\nExperience managing reusable Terraform modules and multi-environment deployments.\nUnderstanding of Terraform remote state management and infrastructure lifecycle management.\nStrong practical experience with Kubernetes.\nExperience deploying and supporting workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nKnowledge of Kubernetes ingress controllers, networking, storage, scaling and observability.\nHands-on experience with GitOps principles and Flux CD.\nExperience managing application and infrastructure deployments through Git repositories.\nStrong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.\nExperience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with branching strategies, pull request workflows and repository governance.\nExperience monitoring systems, troubleshooting production incidents and performing root-cause analysis.\nStrong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.\nA leader in personalized customer experiences\nMAP is a world-leading Centre of Excellence that helps businesses humanize the relationship between the brand and the customer through hyper personalization at scale, marketing automation and CRM.
