You’ll play a key role in managing and optimising the system, maintaining accurate employee data, streamlining HR processes and ensuring people information is reliable, consistent and accessible across the business.\nWorking across the employee lifecycle, you’ll support Workday administration, reporting, system updates, data integrity and process improvements, while partnering with the wider People & Culture team to make everyday HR processes more efficient. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with HR technology, solving problems and finding smarter ways to manage people data and systems.\nThis is a part-time, fixed-term contract role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, curious and proactive, with an interest in HRIS optimisation, automation and improving the employee experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and optimise Workday, ensuring accurate employee data and efficient HR processes.\nManage Workday transactions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes and off boarding.\nMaintain data integrity, reporting, audits and compliance requirements.\nSupport Workday workflows, configuration, user access and system updates.\nTroubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and automation.\nMaintain Workday documentation and support system training and adoption.\nCoordinate onboarding, off boarding and performance cycles.\nSupport broader People & Culture activities across VML Australia.\nRequired Experience, Skills & Capabilities\nExperience in HR administration, People Operations or HRIS.\nHands-on experience with Workday, including employee data, workflows and reporting.\nStrong data management, Excel and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organisation and stakeholder communication.\nExposure to Workday configuration, reporting, UAT or system enhancements is highly regarded.\nUnderstanding of Australian employment legislation and HR compliance is desirable.\nAbility to manage confidential information with discretion.\nWe believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
