This position will require foundational technical knowledge across Adobe products and in-depth strategic and analytical skills. This consultant will work to gather and understand their client’s unique business objectives and provide advice on how best to meet their needs using one or more Adobe solution. In addition, Field Engineers will collaborate cross-team to deliver on recommendations, including both technical and strategic services to help drive business impact and support business needs. \nWhat you'll Do \nBe a recognized authority (by clients, partners, and colleagues) in AEM software-based solutions & technologies. \nWork to educate clients on the standard methodologies in relation to their specific industry and key business requirements. \nGain an in-depth knowledge of a client’s technical environment, business objectives, goals and challenges to provide the best advice needed to drive customer success and value with Adobe solutions. \nEffectively analyze complex project issues, identify the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommended solution with clients and partners. \nEfficiently multi-task, working across multiple client engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives. \nActively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest Adobe technologies through internally and externally available learning opportunities and self-study. \nInteract frequently with clients via Microsoft Teams and email-including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives \nKeep accurate daily records of project hours for weekly timesheet submission and up-to-date estimates of workload. \nUse Microsoft Office products to build client documentation and presentations \nWhat you need to succeed \nThe capacity to understand business requirements and translate them into architecture, design, and development activities for our most complex Web based solutions. \nExperience articulating technical solutions and how they can solve client business problems for both technical and non-technical audiences. \nThe ability to adapt to and work effectively with a variety of clients and partners in challenging situations, employing strong facilitation skills while establishing credibility and trust quickly. \nA deep technical knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites and Assets on different hosting options like on-premises, Managed Services and Cloud Services. \nExperience in one or more of the following: AEM Guides, SPA Frameworks/SPA Editor, AEM Forms, Edge Delivery Services is a plus \nProficiency in Java, Sling, HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, and related web technologies (CSS, HTML). \nMust have experience in implementing AEM integration with one or more following Adobe products - Adobe Launch, AA, AT, AAM, Campaign, Marketo, Commerce, Workfront, Personalization using ContextHub, Creative Cloud products etc. \nDemonstrated proficiency in integration technologies and techniques. \nCandidates with Adobe Experience Platform or Enterprise Architecture experience will get considerable preference. \nFamiliarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and other Adobe products is a plus. \nProficiency in the Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles or ExtJS framework, Dispatcher or CDNs a plus. \nProficiency of Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming Methodology applying Java language constructs. \nOptimizing web solutions and architecting to accommodate performance requirements. \nDebugging and appropriate debugging tools usage skills in general TCP/IP networking, UNIX Operating system, HTTP protocol and request processing, SMTP, etc. \nMastery in at least one of the current SQL dialects. \nExperience developing responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
