You'll create safe, fun, and effective sessions tailored to older adults that promote strength, balance, mobility, and overall vitality. This position is a PRN position. So flexibility is key.\nWork Schedule:\nClasses are held: Mon, Wed, Fri from 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM & 5:30 PM -6:15 PM Tues& Thurs: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM.\nOpportunities to teach additional classes when hours are available: Mon, Wed, Fri from 7: 00 AM -7:45 AM, 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM, & 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM\nNot eligible for benefits\nI\nEssential Functions\nClass Design and Delivery: Designs choreography and music for classes per certification and Wellness Center standards; leads diverse exercise sessions to meet member needs, including warm-ups, cardio, conditioning, stretches, and water-specific principles/safety.\nReporting and Compliance: Submits attendance reports for program monitoring; adheres to group fitness guidelines, ACSM/AEA/ACE protocols, operational policies, and emergency action plans.\nMember Guidance and Safety: Provides tailored exercise recommendations; demonstrates water safety knowledge; ensures adaptability to participants' capabilities and motivates effectively.\nProfessionalism and Appearance: Maintains a positive, professional attitude/image; adheres to conservative dress code; reports member/staff concerns to supervisors/directors.\nTeamwork and Coverage: Assists colleagues with tasks; ensures class coverage when absent; exhibits responsible communication and problem-solving with co-workers.\nPromotion and Feedback: Promotes programs/events to class members; actively solicits feedback; encourages facility/program usage through quality customer service.\nCustomer Interaction: Addresses members positively; answers questions customer-friendly; ensures instructor availability for discussions to meet service objectives.\nBENEFITS:\nAre you thinking about joining us?
