Our commitment to achieving this goal will help to bring our mission and values to life.\nRN Nurse Educator\nPay Range:\n$29.96 - $40.45\nThis position is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, tracking, and evaluating education programs for Supportive Living, including Transitional Care, Complete Living Care, and Assisted Living. This role oversees programs involving licensed and unlicensed clinical & non-clinical care staff to ensure compliance with community standards and Commonwealth of Virginia and United States Federal Regulations. This role ensures all education is delivered using various methods (e-Learning, classroom delivery, clinical setting, one-on-one, and any other method deemed appropriate such as video, teleconference, etc.) that supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values. If you experience any difficulties with the attachments, feel welcome to send attachments via email to .\nSchedule:\n8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, plus on-call rotation for weekends and holidays\nFlexibility with schedule is required to meet education needs of Supportive Living's nursing team\nApproximately 80 hours per pay period\nEligible for benefits on date of hire\nRequirements\nVirginia Board of Nursing Train the Trainer preferred\nGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license to practice nursing as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia (BSN preferred).\nTwo years of clinical and/or supervisory experience and educational leadership in Senior Living experience preferred.\nKnowledgeable and passionate in geriatrics, long term care, transitional care and assisted living.\nMust possess a command of the English language, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with nursing leadership, staff, co-workers and the public - verbally, in writing, and through presentation.\nPossess computer experience with familiarity in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).\nCompetency with web-based training, computer set-up, and other audio-visual equipment.\nAbility to use multiple and varied training methodologies in order to meet training needs of staff.\nKnowledge of and ability to incorporate adult learning theory into daily practice (motivational theory/employee motivation, etc.).\nEffectively plan/develop, coordinate, implement, track & evaluate an education, orientation & training program for licensed & non-licensed clinical care staff that is also beneficial to staff across the organization.\nDemonstrated experience managing organizational change by strategically planned and designed educational programs.\nAbility to write or modify curriculum/course content to meet VMRC's unique organizational needs.\nDemonstrate strong leadership.\nAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new industry standards and training.\nHighly organized, willing to be flexible, and accommodate changing priorities.\nPossess the ability to effectively work with leadership, the service line team, staff, residents, vendors, and community members.\nAbility to perform the duties listed in the job description with limited supervision and be
