Assists in renovating and turning over units in all Northern New Jersey facilities and programs. \n\nLocation: Rahway, NJ 07065\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED with three years of maintenance / construction experience preferred. \nThis position shall also have a valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets agency procedures.\n\nAssistant Environmental Manager Principal Responsibilities:\nClean and repair facilities in accordance with the schedule and priority level.\nAssist in preparing facilities areas for appropriate program use.\nComplete and update work orders that are assigned to you by your supervisor.\nAccept and transport deliveries of supplies, furniture, and other program materials.\nAssist in renovating facilities throughout the Northern New Jersey service area. \nAssist in routine site safety inspections and preventive maintenance, which may include heating, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing units, equipment and fixtures and carpentry.\nYou will be on a rotating on-call schedule and rotate will other facilities team members.\nProvide back up in emergency safety situations.\n\nWe are committed to offering our employees an exceptional comprehensive benefits package that supports their health, well-being, and personal growth.
