If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.\nWhat you’ll do\nCloud Operations Expert will be part of the Cloud team, responsible for the operations of the Cloud Operations team and the cloud environments used to virtualize network functions in Vodafone’s core network.\nManaging and supporting a mixed environment of VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX, RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP).\nGood knowledge of Storage and Network technologies.\nManaging critical situations by performing troubleshooting, incident management, and error handling for cloud platforms.\nImplementing security policies and remediating vulnerabilities on platforms following best practices and company procedures.\nDiscussing, evaluating, and organizing change management, fault management, and service request processes with design and delivery teams, ensuring alignment across markets.\nEvaluating new versions, firmware, and patches; organizing and scheduling major upgrades and security patch implementations with consideration of cross-market impacts.\nDiscussing platform evolution and technology roadmap with vendors and design teams, driving adoption of future-ready solutions.\nBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across markets, design teams, vendors, and internal customers.\nOrganizing and managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines, while maintaining a strategic, multi-market perspective. \nIncident, change, and problem management for multi-vendor cloud platforms including RHOCP.\nLife cycle management of diverse cloud infrastructure across markets. \nRelationship management with design teams, engineering teams, and internal customers across multiple markets.\nWho you are\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.\nGood team player.\nProblem Solver.\nStrong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies.\nAbility to perform in stressing and emergency conditions.\nCritical thinking.\nTime management.\n Fluency in English.\nNot a perfect fit?\nWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
