The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable intelligence through predictive and descriptive statistical techniques across diverse data environments. Based in Pune, the individual will work collaboratively with business and commercial teams to drive informed decision-making and innovation.\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild, test, and deliver analytical models leveraging new and existing datasets to support defined use cases\nPerform data preparation, cleansing, and optimisation using SQL and NoSQL technologies\nDevelop descriptive and predictive models tailored to specific customer segments, products, and services\nSupport business stakeholders by contributing to decision-making processes through data-driven insights\nCollaborate with commercial teams to present recommendations based on analytical outcomes\nContribute to product management activities by identifying and defining customer-facing analytics use cases\nSupport the definition and improvement of analytics lifecycle processes for efficient and cost-effective delivery\nParticipate in business analysis activities and document specifications for information requests\nWho you are\nExperienced in advanced analytics techniques such as descriptive, predictive, and optimisation modelling\nComfortable working with complex, high-volume, and high-dimensional datasets (preferably using Hadoop or Spark)\nProficient in SQL and database technologies such as Teradata, Oracle, or MySQL\nSkilled in applying machine learning techniques to practical business problems\nExperienced in statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, or SPSS\nEducated in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with relevant experience\nConfident working in international, distributed, and agile team environments\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and system analysis capabilities\nEffective communicator, able to translate complex findings into clear and simple language\nCollaborative, adaptable, and proactive with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
