This role supports the development and execution of operational strategies, manages field activities, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures service continuity through effective planning, execution, and 24/7 operational support.\nWhat you’ll do\nKey accountabilities and decision ownership:\nOperational Management\nManage and oversee field operations activities, including installations, maintenance, upgrades, and fault restoration across APAC and Middle East.\nProvide 24/7 operational and on site support as required to ensure service availability and reliability. \nEnsure adherence to operational procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.\nProject Planning & Execution\nSupport the planning and execution of field based projects, working closely with regional deployment and engineering teams.\nMonitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within agreed scope and quality standards.\nCoordinate site readiness, access, logistics, and resources for field activities.\nStakeholder Coordination\nAct as a key interface between Deployment team and stakeholders, including Regulatory, Compliance, Partner Management, Finance, Sales, Suppliers and other Network teams.\nCoordinate with vendors and partners to ensure contractual obligations and service levels are met.\nEscalate operational issues appropriately and drive resolution across multiple parties.\nPerformance & Reporting\nPrepare project updates to management, highlighting risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.\nNetwork Efficiency Improvement\nFacilitate network enhancement initiatives by implementing optimisation strategies, refining processes, and utilising operational and automation tools to increase reliability, optimise performance, and enhance cost efficiency.\nWho you are\nCore competencies, knowledge and experience:\nTechnical Expertise: Good understanding of data center operations and telecommunications networks, including MPLS, Transmission, Internet, Cloud and SD-WAN.\nProject Management: Good experience in managing network projects, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in different regions.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds in a global business environment.\nProblem Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to efficiently diagnose operational and network challenges, determine underlying causes, and execute appropriate corrective and preventive measures. Proficient in analysing intricate technical and business requirements and converting them into actionable strategies.\nLanguage Skills: Fluent in English is mandatory.
