Based in Pune, India, this role focuses on managing, troubleshooting, and optimising enterprise network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Cisco ACI technology. The individual will act as a key escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring high availability and performance across complex multi-technology environments. This is a real-time operational role requiring deep expertise in routing, switching, data centre networks, and security technologies\nWhat you’ll do\nProvide expert-level support and guidance to operations teams, ensuring timely resolution and knowledge transfer.\nLead troubleshooting and resolution of high-severity network incidents involving MPLS, IPSEC, and VRF.\nConfigure and maintain APIC controllers, Nexus 9000 switches, and spine-leaf topology.\nManage lifecycle activities including device upgrades, patches, and failover testing.\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose preventive measures.\nDevelop automation scripts using Python/Ansible for ACI operations.\nMonitor ACI health, fabric utilisation, and proactively address anomalies using APIC dashboards, SNMP, and Syslog.\nMaintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.\nEnsure compliance with security and operational standards and participate in change management processes.\nInterface with vendors for support and escalation of hardware/software issues.\nWho you are\nExtensive hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, including Nexus (7K/9K), Catalyst platforms, and VSS.\nStrong understanding of MPLS, VRF segmentation, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.\nProven expertise in Cisco ACI fabric and SDN concepts.\nFamiliarity with ACI automation tools (Python, Ansible) and REST API for operational tasks.\nGood understanding of firewall policies, load balancers, and integration with ACI.\nExperience in incident handling, RCA documentation, and change management processes.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong communication capabilities.\nProfessional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and Cisco Data Centre Specialist or ACI-specific certifications are required.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
