This role will focus on aligning SAP architecture with telecom business processes such as order-to-cash, billing, customer management, and service delivery, while supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will operate across multiple teams, influencing system design, improving engineering practices, and ensuring our platforms can evolve with growing business needs. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances high-level architectural thinking with pragmatic execution.\nMore specifically you will:\nDefine and drive the SAP architecture strategy aligned with Vodafone’s business goals \nLead system design discussions and drive best practices across SAP platforms \nEnsure seamless integration between SAP and telecom systems (e.g., CRM, billing, mediation, network systems) \nProvide architectural governance, standards, and best practices across all SAP initiatives \nSupport transformation programs including S/4HANA migration and system modernization \nCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate telecom requirements into scalable SAP solutions \nLead integration strategies using APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms \nMentor technical and functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery \nEnsure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to telecom\nCommunicate with project teams throughout all project stages \nWho you are\nComputer Science or Engineering background \n8+ years of SAP experience, including 3-5 years in a senior architecture role \nStrong experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise architecture \nProven experience in telecom environments (operators, service providers, or vendors) \nDeep understanding of telecom business processes (billing, charging, subscriptions, customer lifecycle) \nExperience integrating SAP with telecom platforms (e.g., BSS/OSS systems) \nStrong knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and their telecom applications \nExperience with integration technologies (middleware, APIs, cloud services) \nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills \nWorking experience in agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated \nClear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) \nSelf-motivated and self-managing with strong interpersonal skills \nFulfilled military services (for male candidates)\nNot a perfect fit?\nWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
