Be part of the team that makes it all happen - simplifying, automating, and bringing better connectivity than ever before, with giga-fast speed, to our customers.\n\nWhat you’ll do\nPlay a key role within the VodafoneThree Field Engineering team, delivering installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support activities across fixed and mobile networks and business solutions. \nWork safely on VodafoneThree's network infrastructure, including regular climbing, rooftop working, and other physical activities, while maintaining required health and safety standards. \nInstall, maintain, and repair network equipment and services to agreed VodafoneThree quality, performance, and service standards. \nAdhere to all VodafoneThree HSE Absolute Rules, safe working practices, and operational procedures at all times. \nProvide professional and timely communication with internal and external customers while identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes. \nDemonstrate flexibility in working hours, travel requirements, and participation in 24/7 callout rotas or shift patterns as required by the business.\nWho you are\nEssential\nFormal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience gained through previous roles.\nAbility to work both in a team and on your own efficiently and effectively\nA considerable amount of the role consists of lone working and so the ability to work efficiently, safely and independently is a must\nValid / full UK / EU driving license (Category B)\nAbility to achieve and maintain SC clearance status\nAbility to achieve and maintain Advanced Climber / Tower Rescue Certification and passing regular health assessments in accordance with MATS guidance.\nDesirable\nProvision of service, fault diagnosis and rectification of relevant telecoms technologies.\nMulti-vendor CPE including Cisco, Juniper and ADVA\nCore transmission technologies including DWDM and Ethernet\nMobile networking technologies 3G/4G/5G and associated equipment\nMicrowave Radio\nSwitch and Field DC power systems\nFibre and copper cabling and termination\nHND or Degree in an appropriate technical subject or relevant industry experience \nIP & Data accreditations - e.g. Cisco CCNA / CCNP\nWireless Network design and deployment\nLAN/WIFI and peripheral equipment’s\nUnified communications solutions\nAdvanced Climber / Tower Rescue Certification\n\nWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?\nWe know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them.
