This role is responsible for administering Ab Initio Enterprise Metadata Environment (EME), maintaining platform stability and security, supporting development and release activities, and ensuring effective metadata governance. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain reliable and high-performing Ab Initio environments while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nWhat you’ll do\nInstall, configure, maintain, and support Ab Initio EME environments.\nManage repositories, projects, sandboxes, branches, and version control activities.\nPerform upgrades, patching, compatibility assessments, and environment maintenance.\nEnsure high availability, performance, and operational stability of EME services.\nManage user accounts, groups, roles, and access controls in accordance with security requirements.\nSupport integration with LDAP and Active Directory authentication services.\nMaintain metadata repositories and ensure data lineage, governance, and repository integrity.\nSupport check-in/check-out processes, branching, merging, and conflict resolution activities.\nTroubleshoot metadata inconsistencies, repository issues, and environment-related challenges.\nSupport application migrations across development, testing, user acceptance, and production environments.\nCollaborate with release management teams and contribute to CI/CD-based deployment processes.\nMonitor platform performance, system locks, sessions, logs, and repository health.\nInvestigate and resolve deployment failures, user connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.\nProvide Level 2 and Level 3 operational support, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.\nDevelop and maintain shell scripts to automate operational tasks, health checks, backups, and housekeeping activities.\nMaintain operational documentation, access matrices, architecture artefacts, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport audits, compliance assessments, security reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nWho you are\nStrong hands-on experience in Ab Initio EME administration.\nGood understanding of Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Co>Operating System.\nExperience working with Linux and Unix operating systems.\nKnowledge of shell scripting, file systems, permissions, and security management.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment practices.\nExposure to LDAP and Active Directory integration.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience supporting enterprise data warehouse and ETL platforms.\nFamiliarity with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nRelevant professional experience of 3 to 4 years.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
