You will design and implement Java-based solutions for Telecom BSS applications, collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.\nThe role requires hands-on experience in Core Java 7 or above, J2EE, Spring, SQL, Oracle, EJB, REST and SOAP Web Services, WebLogic, Jenkins and Git, alongside practical knowledge of Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign and implement Java-based solutions for Telecom BSS applications.\nParticipate throughout development and implementation, collaborating with product owners to understand business requirements.\nPrepare high-level and low-level technical documentation, including HLD and IDD.\nEnsure implemented solutions support business objectives and follow relevant best practices.\nEstimate development effort for requirements and projects.\nWork within Agile delivery models including Scrum, SAFe and Kanban.\nSupport functional and non-functional testing across relevant project phases.\nContribute to innovation across IT domain processes and systems in collaboration with software providers, business teams and system integrators.\nUse technology to simplify systems and processes and improve efficiency to support business growth.\nDeliver demonstrations to designers and share development experience and lessons learned with technical colleagues.\nCollaborate with technical teams to plan and monitor implementation activities for successful solution delivery.\nWho you are\nYou hold a BTech, BE, MCA or MTech qualification.\nYou have 2 to 4 years of experience in customisation and development using Amdocs Order Management System (OMS/Ordering).\nYou have experience with Core Java 7 or above, J2EE, Spring and SQL.\nYou have experience working with Oracle databases.\nYou understand and have worked with EJB, REST and SOAP Web Services.\nYou have experience with the WebLogic application server.\nYou have knowledge of CI/CD supporting tools, including Jenkins and Git.\nYou understand the Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.\nYou can translate business needs into practical technology solutions.\nYou have practical design and development experience and strong analytical skills.\nYou can quickly understand and apply new concepts.\nYou can organise your work effectively, manage time and prioritise competing requirements.\nYou take a proactive, solution-focused approach to improvement and innovation.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
